Things to Do around Westwood This Weekend: Friday, Aug 26 - Sunday, Aug 28, 2022 (Updated)

It's the last weekend of summer before the kids head back to school, and a last chance to experience the events of summer.

The  Marshfield Fair has its closing weekend. Sunday marks Norwood's last Concert on the Common. University Station concludes its School Supply Drive. 

Seeing the Invisible, however, is just getting started. The augmented reality art show in the outdoor setting of the Gardens of Elm Bank has visitors downloading an app to help them "see" works of art appear outdoors on their smartphone screen.

Seeing the Invisible is an outdoor augmented reality art and sculpture exhibition at Elm Bank, one of twelve locations in the world that is plays host to the event. The exhibition can only be viewed with a mobile app that should be downloaded before your visit. [more details]

University Station Hosts School Supply Drive Benefitting School on Wheels of Massachusetts - Sat Aug 27 and Sun Aug 28 9:00 am

Concerts on the Common - Sun Aug 28 6:00 pm

Norwood Town Common

Norwood hosts live, "old-fashioned" music on the Town Common. 

Listen to marches, swing, and jazz outdoors on a Sunday evening with your friends, family, and neighbors. At this last concert of the season, Dan Gabel and the Abletones perform. [more details]

New England Revolution vs. LA Galaxy - Sun Aug 28 8:00 pm
