There are just a few meetings of Westwood's town government this week. The Charter Review Committee holds its first meeting and Westwood Early Childhood Council hears an overview of spring and summer programs.
Westwood Early Childhood Council meeting via Google Meets, Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Discussion will include Westwood grants and accounts including museum passes, parent-child programs and financial assistance for preschoolers. There will also be a spring and summer program overview and discussion of strengthening partnerships, volunteer opportunities and fundraising.

Charter Review Committee meeting via Zoom, Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. the Charter Review Committee has been formed to discuss updates to the Town of Westwood’s charter. Discussion will address the committee structure, special legal counsel, and process. Also to be discussed is Westwood’s Town Charter.

Permanent Building Subcommittee meeting via Zoom, Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. The subcommittee will discuss "submitted packages for General Contractor and the evaluation status" and "submitted packages for File Sub Bid contractor and the evaluation status.

School Committee in-person meeting, Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will be held in the Westwood Public Library Community Meeting Room at 660 High Street in Westwood.
The Superintendent's Report includes an Equity Audit update, a Q3 Financial Report, hiring updates and recognition of MA Alpine State Tournament winner Haley Kutzer. The School Committee Chair will provide updates on the school building project and the school start times subcommittee. There will also be an update from the Policy Review Subcommittee.
