St. John's Episcopal Church, Westwood holds its "Just in Time for Mother's Day" Flower and Plant Sale, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13th.
The sale will include perennials galore from the gardens of St. John's members and annuals, from geraniums to petunias to impatiens, sourced from local nurseries. Payment is accepted in cash, check, or Venmo.
Parking is available next door at Thurston Middle School. Proceeds will go to support St. John's outreach missions to feed the hungry.

I completely agree. Washington St. also has some terrible patches, especially the handicap ramps. I don’t understand why the DPW is responsible for clearing sidewalks in front of homes and businesses. It seems that those should be the responsibility of the property owner.
The sidewalks on High Rock and Hartford have been pretty treacherous this winter too. I didn't contact DPW about it though.
