First Parish of Westwood Spring Yard Sale – Saturday, May 13th, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
On Saturday, May 13th, come to First Parish of Westwood, rain or shine, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for a treasure-seeker’s paradise – our spring yard sale. Hundreds of items will be on sale including attic treasures, books, puzzles, household goods, furniture, tools and plants.
Yard Sale donations are welcome. Anyone who would like to contribute clean, useable items in good condition may bring them to the church after 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 11th, or anytime during the day on Friday, May 12th. No clothes, shoes, medical equipment, sports equipment, computer equipment, electronics, TVs, car seats, or large upholstered furniture, please!
First Parish is located at 252 Nahatan Street and is handicapped accessible. Proceeds from the sale benefit First Parish of Westwood.

I completely agree. Washington St. also has some terrible patches, especially the handicap ramps. I don’t understand why the DPW is responsible for clearing sidewalks in front of homes and businesses. It seems that those should be the responsibility of the property owner.
The sidewalks on High Rock and Hartford have been pretty treacherous this winter too. I didn't contact DPW about it though.
