Learn about an opportunity to protect 1,200 acres from development in Dover and Westwood, in advance of a potential resident vote at Town Meeting. Attend one of four opportunities to discuss the issue with members of The Trustees of Reservations, Westwood Land Trust and/or Dover Land Trust. Sessions will be held:

Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Powisset Farm in Dover;

Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Powisset Farm in Dover;

Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Westwood's Main Library;

The cost of $27,000 could have been avoided if the tax payers were notified about the idea of taking the WLT to court and it was discussed at a regular town meeting. Especially when a town takes the unusual step of taking its own land trust to court.
