2025 marks the 42nd anniversary of Sally Ride’s historic STS-7 mission and becoming the first American woman in space.
To honor her and this special anniversary, we are joining the initiative started by the National Air and Space Museum and executed by fellow Smithsonian Affiliates across the country to host an evening filled with FREE fun for learners of all ages!

Led by NASA Solar System Ambassadors and The Space Consortium, nostalgic 1980s trivia and puzzles, a photobooth, and official NASA giveaways!
7:30PM - 8:30PM: Planetarium Program
Night sky tour, planetarium film Big Astronomy (open seating), and MicroObservatory
8:30PM - 9:30PM: Planetarium Program (same program as above)
