Dedham Choral Society (DCS) marks its 70th anniversary with an exciting Christmas concert, “Instruments of Peace” that is inspired by the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi.
This celebration will highlight Michael Haydn’s “St. Francis Mass,” a delightful work from the Classical period for chorus, soloists Katrina Holden Buckley (soprano), Margaret Lias (mezzo soprano) Kartik Ayysola (tenor), Rob Woodin (bass), and orchestra under the direction of Jonathan Barnhart. The concert program also includes a suite of choruses from the “Czech Christmas Mass” by Jakob Jan Ryba, a folk-inspired narrative of the Christmas story as well as audience sing-along carols.
Tickets are available for purchase at https://www.dedhamchoral.org/buy-tickets/ or at the door. Adults $35, Seniors $30, Students $20, Children (5-12) $5.

Wow, thank you for that comprehensive explanation of this issue. public hearings before the suit was filed could have gone a long way toward avoiding this controversy and the distrust in our leaders it has sown.
Glad you found the article informative! Appreciate the positive feedback!
Congratulations, Erin, for not only raising these important issues regarding the town's lawsuit but taking action like the petition to force the town to give it's residents a chance to ask questions in a public forum. The overwhelming success of the petition augurs well for the special town meeting.
