Due to rain, the previously scheduled Town of Westwood Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled, but the observation ceremony will still be held. The location has been moved from the New Westwood Cemetery to an indoor location. The community is invited to mark this holiday of remembrance by gathering at the high school auditorium. The rebooted project has been described as about 20 percent smaller in square footage and about $1.62 million or 4 percent less expensive than the prior proposal, using dollars not adjusted for inflation.…. Is this really better?
No. But it’s only going to get worse. Just like it would have been better to build a combined station. Let’s just vote Yes before it gets any worse.
Get worse? It did. This latest plan is a farce. 40,000,000? So much for the steering committee doing their research.
