Due to rain, the previously scheduled Town of Westwood Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled, but the observation ceremony will still be held. The location has been moved from the New Westwood Cemetery to an indoor location. The community is invited to mark this holiday of remembrance by gathering at the high school auditorium. I appreciate all of the work and time that the FS1 Steering Committee and Select Board have put into this process. I've also noticed a big difference in communication around this from the town on Facebook and Westwood Wire. This feels like a much different process than the first time around.
