Rocky Woods Reservation in Medfield, MA will host the inaugural Family Woodland Jamboree, featuring popular children’s musician “Happy Julie” on Saturday October 3 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. . The outdoor family concert in a historic woodland setting is an entertaining afternoon activity for music loving young children, families and friends. 

The autumnal beauty of Rocky Woods is the perfect backdrop for popular New-England based “Happy Julie,” a singer, guitarist and children’s entertainer, who has won over the hearts of children of all ages with her energetic songs and musical games. “Happy Julie” will get everyone singing, dancing and twirling to her lively tunes as bubbles float through the crisp air. The open lawn where “Happy Julie” will perform provides plenty of room for little ones and for those who simply want to kick back and watch the leaves fall.

A special nature discovery table will feature animal pelts and skulls of animals who call Rocky Woods home. Families can also enjoy games of cornhole and walk along the Chickering Pond trail while enjoying the latest StoryWalk book. 

 Food and beverages will be available for purchase, including treats from Chubs’ Ice Cream and delicious offerings from The Hot Dog Wagon. Beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks will also be available. Outside food and drink are not permitted. 

Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome.

At the Rocky Woods Family Woodland Jamboree, guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in on the grass for an afternoon of music, community, and fall fun. Admission ticket price includes all activities, entertainment and free parking.
