The rebooted project has been described as about 20 percent smaller in square footage and about $1.62 million or 4 percent less expensive than the prior proposal, using dollars not adjusted for inflation.…. Is this really better?
No. But it’s only going to get worse. Just like it would have been better to build a combined station. Let’s just vote Yes before it gets any worse.
I totally understand. We need a fire station, the firemen need a safe place to work. The thing that I like is that we are using properties Westwood owns.
