American roots singer and songwriter Frank Drake will be the featured performer at the at a concert that is one in a series for the 2026-2027 season of the Open Book Coffeehouse.

Frank Drake is a Boston based musician, singer song writer and band leader. He plays with countless fine musicians and bands including: The Bagboys, Bluegrass The Band, & Sick Sad And Lonesome. His own bands are: Hashtag Hoedown and Short Life Of Trouble. Frank Drake is a musician, composer, and teacher working across jazz, Western swing, bluegrass, roots country, modern composition, rock, pop, and Americana. He has spent decades honing his craft.

Frank will be playing guitar and singing vocals, and will be accompanied by Jimmy Ryan on mandolin and vocals. Together, the duo is known as “Bootstrap.”

Although the library remains open, due to an ongoing repair and restoration project through Fall 2027, the concerts normally held at the library will take place instead at the Senior Center in Canton. 

 Doors open at 6:45 PM; music starts at 7:30 PM. Admission is $18 for the general public and $9 for students of any age. Tickets are available that evening on a first come, first serve basis. (cash or checks; cash preferred). 

 The Senior Center is accessible to all, and there is a large free parking lot just behind the building.
