Weekend Forecast for Westwood Friday, July 29 - Sunday, July 31

What a difference a day makes! 

A check of the weather on Wednesday showed a week or more ahead of dry weather. Also on Wednesday this week, the Dedham Westwood Water District announced the imposition of a water ban on any lawn watering. It noted a low water supply and no forseeable opportunity to replenish it with rain. 

Today, the forecast includes a 30 to 40 percent chance of heavy rain on Thursday afternoon and evening. There's also a chance of rain on Friday and Saturday. For the sake of green lawns and our water supply, let's hope we get it!

Rain in the morning.

High: 87° Low: 63° with a 49% chance of rain with 7 mph winds from the WNW.

Sunday July 31

Partly cloudy throughout the day.

High: 89° Low: 67° with a 0% chance of precipitation with 5 mph winds from the W.
