The Open Book Coffeehouse proudly announces its next concert for the 2022-2023 season: progressive folk duo Amber Wilds will be featured on Saturday evening, May 20.

Amber Wilds is a progressive folk band that blends sensitive instrumentals with evocative lyricism. With earthy vocals, dynamic guitar, and rich string bass, the group creates timeless songs that feel like warmth on a winter day. Inspired by the likes of Watchhouse, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Courtney Marie Andrews, their music harkens to the nature-inspired roots of Americana blended with classical and contemporary songs, sounds, and stories.

Originally having met in the sun-soaked Arizona desert through a high school fiddle group, bandleaders Devon Gardner and Adam Gurczak now call the bustling streets of Boston home. Whether playing as a duo or in compliments of three or four with other artists, Amber Wilds offers songs of solace, inviting you to rest your mind, wander to the beyond, and find beauty in the wilds.

Enjoy the relaxing, warm atmosphere of friendly people, good music, coffee, tea, and home baked goodies. The Open Book Coffeehouse is located in the community room of the Canton Public Library at 786 Washington Street, Canton, and is made possible by the Friends of the Library. Parking is to the left when facing the library from Washington Street. Enter by the "Special Events" door to the left of the columns, midway into the parking area.

Doors open at 6:45 PM; music starts at 7:30 PM. Admission is $12 for the general public and $6 for students of any age. Tickets are available that evening only on a first come, first serve basis. Cash and checks are accepted.
