Westwood Poet Laureate's Poem for 2025 Westwood Founding Day, "The Last High Street Trolley, 1924"

As part of her mission to write poems for special days in the Town of Westwood's calendar, Westwood Poet Laureate Lynne Viti has written this poem for 2025 Founding Day, April 2. 

in the poem, Viti commemorates the last run of the electric trolley from Dedham to Medfield and points south and southwest, as automobiles pushed out the old trolley.  The poem begins on High Street facing Sen-Ki and the Sunoco Station.
