ON TUESDAY, APRIL 14, THE DEDHAM-WESTWOOD WATER DISTRICT WILL CONDUCT SEPARATE FIRE HYDRANT FLOW TESTS AT TWO WESTWOOD LOCATIONS:
CLAPBOARDTREE STREET AREA
UNIVERSITY AVENUE AREA
FIRE HYDRANT FLOW TESTS CAN CAUSE TEMPORARY WATER DISCOLORATION AND CHANGES IN PRESSURE/VOLUME.
CUSTOMERS LOCATED NEAR THE TEST LOCATIONS SHOULD PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE AESTHETICS OF THEIR WATER IF THEY INTEND TO USE IT FOR COOKING, LAUNDRY, AND BATHING.
IF YOU EXPERIENCE DISCOLORED WATER, PLEASE RUN YOUR FAUCET ON COLD AT THE LOWEST POINT IN YOUR HOME UNTIL THE DISCOLORATION CLEARS.
QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE DISTRICT AT 781-329-7090.
Thanks to Dedham-Westwood Water District for sponsoring this public notice in Westwood Minute.
Thank you for this article! It’s so nice to see these staff members acknowledged for their hard work. I am especially grateful to our custodial staff who maintain the cleanliness of learning spaces during cold and flu season and any waves of the stomach bug.
I cannot remember the last time one of our elected reps (Lynch, Rush, or McMurtry) agreed to sit down with a challenger and answer questions.
Sunny, with a high of 84 and low of 63 degrees. Sunny in the morning, cloudy in the afternoon and evening, mist overnight.
