Westwood Field Hockey Wins First Ever State Championship (Updated)

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, Westwood has defeated Nashoba Regional and won its first MIAA Division 2 Field Hockey State Championship. 

The win at Burlington High School was tweeted by Westwood Athletics around 4:00 p.m., approximately two hours after the scheduled start of the game. 

According to tweets by Westwood Athletics, the game was tied at zero through the end of the fourth quarter. One goal in overtime clinched it for Westwood, with the game ending score of 1-0.
