Norfolk County Sheriff Invites Resident Input at Coffee Talk on Public Safety

Norfolk County Sheriff Patrick McDermott will kick off a series of “Coffee with the Sheriff” visits at local diners to give Norfolk County residents a chance to meet with him one-on-one and discuss issues important to them.

“The Sheriff’s Office serves the residents of Norfolk County. I am committed to ensuring that everyone feels safe and supported, which is why I wanted to meet people in their communities to talk about their priorities for public safety,” said Sheriff McDermott. “This is also a great opportunity to showcase some of the amazing restaurants across the county.”

The Coffee with the Sheriff events will be an ongoing series that will take place at local diners and restaurants across Norfolk County, starting on January 3, 2022. Local opportunities to speak with the Sheriff include January 24th at The Village Griddle in Medfield, and January 28th at Murph's Place in Norwood.

The January schedule includes the following dates and locations, which are subject to change. Updates can be found on the Norfolk County Sheriff Office website at www.NorfolkSheriff.com/coffee:

    • January 3: Pam’s Diner (93 Mechanic St, Bellingham) from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
    • January 7: Kristin’s Breakfast (349 Washington St, Braintree) from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
    • January 20: King St. Café (390 King St, Franklin) from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
    • January 21: Connection Café (40 Union St, Holbrook) from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
    • January 24: The Village Griddle (14 N. Meadows Rd, Medfield) from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
    • January 25: Country Kitchen Donuts (1140 Main St., Millis) from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
    • January 27: Cilla’s Coffee House (5 Liberty Ln, Norfolk) from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
    • January 28: Murph’s Place (58 Broadway, Norwood) from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
    • January 31: Toast of the Town (348 N. Main St, Randolph) from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
