A male pedestrian in his 20s was seriously injured when he was struck by a car on Washington Street, in Islington in the early evening of Thursday, March 10, 2022. Westwood Fire Paramedics responded and requested a Boston Medflight. Around 4:30 p.m., an ambulance and a few Westwood Police cruisers were seen in the vicinity of Hanlon School, the landing zone for the medical flight.

Dedham Police seized “a large quantity of mushrooms, THC oils, over 300 THC filled chocolate candy bars, a large quantity of THC filled ampules used in Vape like smoking products, a significantly large amount of marijuana, and over $250,000 in cash” on Thursday this week. The police investigation included surveillance of location following neighbor complaints of “frequent and obvious drug sales” to minors.
