Westwood Public Schools Offers Meals at No Cost for Students for School Year 2026-2027

Westwood Public Schools (WPS) students will be eligible to receive healthy meals at no cost for each day of school during the 2026-2027 school year, without submitting a household application, WPS announced on July 28.

Free school meals for the upcoming academic year are made possible through WPS's participation under the Community Eligibility Provision option of the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.

Program information is available in languages other than English, or in other forms such as Braille, large print, audiotape, and American Sign Language for persons with disabilities. Information can be obtained by contacting WPS or the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s TARGET Center at (202) 720-2600 (voice and TTY), or by contacting USDA through the Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339.

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete Form AD-3027, which can be obtained from any USDA office, or by calling (866) 632-9992, or online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/USDA-OASCR%20P-Complaint-Form-0508-0002-508-11-28-17Fax2Mail.pdf. 

Complaints can also be mailed by letter to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
