The non-profit, This Star Won't Go Out, is holding its annual Shine Under the Stars Gala, a fundraiser in support of childhood cancer, which remembers Quincy teen Esther Earl, who inspired the character, "Hazel" in the book, The Fault in Our Stars. 

The event will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funds raised will help pay for travel, housing, and other cost-of-living expenses for New England families, allowing them to focus on their child in treatment instead of worrying about bills.

The Shine Under the Stars Gala is a social event with a purpose, hosted by author and TV personality Sorboni Banerjee. Enjoy Hor d'Oeuvres, a la carte stations, a seasonal cocktail, cash bar, raffle, silent auction and wine pull.
