Thanks to The Friendly Toast for contributing its news to Westwood Minute.
The Friendly Toast, an all-day brunch and bar spot serving dishes with locally sourced ingredients, has opened the doors to its sixth Massachusetts location at Legacy Place in Dedham, the restaurant announced at the end of July. The location is also its ninth in New England.
“We are very excited to continue expanding our footprint in Massachusetts and to bring The Friendly Toast to Dedham and surrounding towns,” said Eric Goodwin, co-owner of The Friendly Toast. Mr. Goodwin notes the restaurant has a "vibrant dining atmosphere" and is suitable for friends and family to gather. The interior boasts signature green walls, eclectic décor, vintage furniture, nostalgic elements, and a red granite bar.
The Friendly Toast's menu includes over 60 items to choose from. Along with locally sourcing ingredients whenever possible, the restaurant offers gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options.
The restaurant describes its full bar as serving "funky cocktail creations" like "Dreamsicle,” and “Dirty Blonde.” Its bar offers several flights like mimosas, along with coffee and other beverages.
The Friendly Toast notes that it is a supporter of the Dedham and surrounding communities, participating with local organizations in monthly charity specials, donations, and more. It announced its plans to donate to The Dedham Food Pantry and Sky Philanthropy from its opening weekend.
“The communities in which we serve remain a top priority to us here at The Friendly Toast,” said Scott Pulver, Co-Owner, The Friendly Toast. “We look forward to growing our relationships with the local residents and are eager to partner with local organizations that have an impact in the Dedham area.
The Dedham restaurant is in hiring mode, and is welcoming walk-ins applicants for various positions such as line cooks, servers, hostesses, and more.
