At Braintree's 50th annual Fourth of July Celebration, the visitors will find a parade, food trucks, and live music. Activities include a petting zoo and Crossfit inspired challenges. [more details]

Westwood Main Library
A showing of the movie, Devotion, reminds us of the sacrifices paid for the freedoms that we celebrate on the Fourth of July. The film is suitable for adults. It focuses on the U.S. Navy's most celebrated wingmen during the Korean War. [more details]

Children's entertainment, food, a pie-eating contest and music precede fireworks, which begin at 9:15 p.m. [more details]
East Walpole Fire Station (parade start)
Walpole has hosted its celebration for over 50 years, and despite some funding challenges, this year is no exception. A fair begins immediately after a parade. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. [more details]
Newton Centre Playground & Albermarle/Halloran Field
Free kids activities in the morning are followed by a carnival with craft fair, vendors, food trucks, and live music. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:10 p.m. [more details]
Needham Town Common
Needham Town Hall marks the beginning of the parade route. Children are invited to gather earlier no later than 8:45 a.m. with a decorated bike, or to simply walk, in a Children's Parade.
