On Thursday, May 23rd, the Rotary Club of Westwood and Westwood Youth & Family Services (WY&FS) honored the recipients of the 2024 Recognize A Youth (R.A.Y.) Award at a ceremony held in Westwood Public Main Library. This year's honorees are Westwood High School students Grace Barnett, Maren Campbell, Angelina Homsy, Michael Stoll, and Kate Sullivan.
According to WY&FS, this year's award recipients are being celebrating for sharing an ethic of caring for others that WY&FS notes is essential for the health of the community.
At the award ceremony, the honorees were celebrated for their accomplishments in the company of their families and those who nominated them.

Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 48 and low of 31 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Overcast during the morning, light drizzle overnight.

Thank you Ms. Galkowski for this thoughtful acknowledgement of positive steps being made by our Town government. My generation loves the positive empowerment. Exemplary.
In promulgating the public comment policy, the Select Board has taken a big step towards showing willingness to engage in conversation with Westwood residents about the many important issues at hand—currently, the Fire Station 1 and the budget.
