ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30 AT 9 AM THE DEDHAM-WESTWOOD WATER DISTRICT WILL CONDUCT A FIRE HYDRANT FLOW TEST FOR A CONTRACTOR NEAR 100 STATION DRIVE IN WESTWOOD.
FIRE HYDRANT FLOW TESTS CAN CAUSE TEMPORARY WATER DISCOLORATION AND CHANGES IN PRESSURE/VOLUME.
CUSTOMERS LOCATED NEAR THE TEST LOCATION SHOULD PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE AESTHETICS OF THEIR WATER IF THEY INTEND TO USE IT FOR COOKING, LAUNDRY, AND BATHING.
IF YOU EXPERIENCE DISCOLORED WATER, PLEASE RUN YOUR FAUCET ON COLD AT THE LOWEST POINT IN YOUR HOME UNTIL THE DISCOLORATION CLEARS.
QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE DISTRICT AT 781-329-7090.
Thanks to Dedham-Westwood Water District for sponsoring this public notice in Westwood Minute.
Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 82 and low of 67 degrees. Overcast in the morning, patchy rain nearby for the afternoon and evening, mist overnight.
That must explain all the lawn sprinklers I saw running Wednesday morning. Oh wait, this takes effect Monday?
This needed to happen 5 years ago. But now the real wrangling begins as MPT will fight to get as much $$$ as they can from the state as possible”just compensation.”
