Westwood Area Residents Earn Academic Honors in Term 1 at Blue Hills Regional Technical School

Westwood residents and high school seniors Ray Joseph, Meghan Baez Martinez, and Liam Hayes have earned Honor Roll distinction for Term 1 at Blue Hills Regional Technical School, announced Superintendent-Director Jill Rossetti and Principal Geoff Zini from Canton on December 3rd, in their release of the names of local students earning Honors and High Honors this term.
A total of 99 students earned High Honors and 412 students were named to the Honor Roll, said Superintendent-Director Rossetti. "Honors at Blue Hills require students to excel in challenging academic classes and apply those lessons in real technical settings," she said. "These achievements show the strength of our programs and the opportunities our students have."
At the vocational-technical high school, students learn through a dual academic and technical schedule that blends classroom instruction with applied learning in 17 career technical programs such as Automotive Technology, Metal Fabrication, Culinary Arts, Health Assisting, and Engineering.
"Our students work extremely hard, and they are supported by highly trained and qualified educators," said Blue Hills Regional Technical School Principal Zini.
