WESTWOOD, MA — Dr. Jacob Conca, Xaverian Brothers High School's head of school and Dr. Michael Nicholson, principal earlier this month announced the appointment of Mrs. Ann Alsfeld (Attleboro) as Chief of Advancement and External Relations at Xaverian.

Mrs. Alsfeld has been a member of the Xaverian community since 2017. During her first six years at the school, she built and led Xaverian’s strategic communications team, strengthening the school’s brand, storytelling, and engagement with key constituencies. In 2024, she was named Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives, a role in which she began working closely with the advancement team, leading initiatives focused on positioning the school for long-term success.

“Ann’s deep understanding of our mission, her strategic mindset, and her collaborative nature make her exceptionally well-suited for this role,” said Dr. Conca. “Her leadership, institutional knowledge, and passion for Xaverian will be tremendous assets as we continue to strengthen our advancement efforts and external partnerships.”

A lifelong product of Catholic education, Mrs. Alsfeld attended Catholic schools from kindergarten through college. An alumna of St. Mary Academy - Bay View, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Fordham University at Lincoln Center. She has spent the past 14 years dedicated to serving Catholic education.

Her connection to Xaverian is both professional and personal. Two of her brothers are alumni: Gregory Lorincz ’97 and Joseph Lorincz ’01. Reflecting on her journey at the school, Mrs. Alsfeld shared, “When I applied to Xaverian nine years ago, I knew it as my brothers’ alma mater and a place I had visited as a teenager. Since then, I have become an ardent believer in all things Xaverian. This is a place where a career becomes a calling, and it’s an honor to serve our community in this new way.”

In her role as Chief of Advancement and External Relations, Mrs. Alsfeld will work closely with school leadership to build philanthropic support, deepen alumni and family engagement, and advance Xaverian’s mission. “Our community is strong, enthusiastic, and caring,” she said. “I’m excited to continue this work and to help build support for Xaverian’s bright future. Go Hawks!”
