Rockland Trust has announced the appointment of Dedham resident Stephen Gogolak as its executive vice president and chief marketing officer, to succeed Alastair Ironside, who is retiring after over 40 years in banking.
Mr. Gogolak is described as bringing over 15 years of experience in leading brand, marketing, customer service, and growth strategy in financial services. Most recently, Mr. Gogolak served as senior vice president and senior director of digital banking at First Citizens Bank. Before that, he held senior leadership roles at Silicon Valley Bank and Boston Private. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Film from Bowdoin College.
"Steve brings a thoughtful, disciplined approach to building brands and driving growth," said Jeffrey Tengel, president and chief executive officer.
“I’m excited to join Rockland Trust, an organization with a deep commitment to the customers and communities it serves,” said Mr. Gogolak.
Established in 1907, Rockland Trust operates more than 150 branches in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with additional offices in Rhode Island.
