Kenneth Ryvicker of Westwood has recently been appointed senior vice president and senior lending officer at Bank of Canton, the bank announced in a May 12 press release. He will lead the bank's commercial lending operation, reporting directly to President and CEO Michael Lindberg.
"I've had the pleasure of working with Ken previously," said Mr. Lindberg, "and I know firsthand that his relationship management skills are exceptional. He has built high-performing teams and facilitated many complex transactions."
Prior to joining Bank of Canton, Mr. Ryvicker served as a senior vice president at Rockland Trust Company for nearly 19 years. According to the bank, he led a team of six commercial lenders with a $1.5 billion commercial portfolio, including $300 million in active loans that he personally developed during his time there.
Mr. Ryvicker received his bachelor's degree in business from Ithaca College.
Bank of Canton is a Massachusetts-chartered mutual savings bank established in 1835. As a mutual savings bank, it has no stockholders. The bank is headquartered in and has branches in Canton. It also has branches in Quincy and Randolph and a mortgage center in Auburn.
