With a forecast for a sunny weekend and temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s, this could be a great chance to enjoy some outdoor activities!

Juneteenth and Father's Day celebrations are being held outdoors in Medfield and Natick. Head to Wellesley for the New England Rose Show at The Garden at Elm Bank. In Sherborn, The Trustees will hold a celebration for the opening of Millborn Farm, its newest reservation in the Charles River Valley.

Feel like some indoor relaxation and entertainment? Enjoy a Saturday evening at Canton Public Library's last Open Book Coffeehouse concert of the season, with a live blues and folk music performance.


Juneteenth Festival with Medway Marches - Fri Jun 19 2:00 p.m.

Bellforge Arts Center, Medfield

Commemorate Juneteenth with Medway Marches, a local organization that formed to help create a more inclusive community for people of color following the death of George Floyd.  The Trustees will host a celebration at Millborn Farm in Sherborn and Millis from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Activities include beginner birding walks, “Ask the Arborist” tree tours, tree climbing demonstrations, ornamental pruning advice, a kids' tree climb with the Massachusetts Arborists Association, horses and hounds from the Norfolk Hunt Club, a family scavenger hunt, an animal craft for children, an iNaturalist Bioblitz, touch-a-tractor, and more. George Clements Performs Bluegrass, Folk Songs - Sat Jun 20 7:30 pm

Senior Center, Canton

In the last performance of the Open Book Coffeehouse concert series for this year, New England multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter George Clements presents an evening in the Americana tradition. With music ranging from bluegrass burners, folk classics and original songs, it’s a show that will leave listeners full of feeling and good vibrations. Coffee, tea, and home-baked goodies are available for purchase. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. performance at the Senior Center, located at 500 Pleasant Street in Canton.
