Thanks to Westwood Artists for contributing this news to Westwood Minute.

On Saturday, October 22,2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Westwood Artists will hold an outdoor marketplace on the Westwood Senior Center Lawn at 60 Nahatan Street.

Ceramic artist Lisa Walker says, “I am excited about doing outdoor events this fall. We can all enjoy the crisp beauty and fair-like feeling that a New England autumn day can provide. Hosting these events outdoors will allow us to become more visible to the Westwood Community - those driving by, out walking their dogs, and out supporting their favorite youth sports."

This marketplace will feature the creative output of Westwood residents - including some very yummy baked goods from BiBi’s café! Additionally, there will be watercolors, acrylic painting, photography, plant designs, pottery, ceramics, sterling silver and gemstone jewelry, origami earrings, and hand-knit and woven work. Artisans include Fataneh Dowlatshahi (Toni), Elidi Chan, Lexi Jackson, Andy Jonic, Carol Ahearn, Karen Cagan, Lisa Walker, Jane Wojick, and Kathy Zola, all of whom are hoping for good weather.

Westwood Artists is an informal organization of makers living in Westwood MA. The current list has over 50 participants. Any artist or artisan residing in Westwood is encouraged to take part in the increasing number of events and projects hosted by this group.
