National Merit Scholarship Corporation Announces Semifinalists in 2025 Program
On September 11th, National Merit Scholarship Corporation has announced the names of the nationwide pool of 16,000 high school juniors who have earned Semifinalist standing in the 2025 competition for National Merit Scholarship Program awards, and many local Westwood area students are among the group.

National Merit Finalists are selected for their skills, accomplishments, and potential for success in rigorous college studies. They will be selected from the pool of Semifinalists, and about 95 percent of Semifinalists are expected to advance to become Finalists.
