The South Asian Association of Westwood held its annual Diwali Festival at Westwood High School earlier this November.

Diwali – or a festival of lights – is celebrated around the world by an estimated 500 million people. The event was open to all members of the public and featured traditional clothing for festival goers to try on and model.

In addition to activities for children, the evening included a Diya lighting, dance performances and a traditional dinner.
