Hanover, MA – March 3, 2025 – Rockland Trust has launched its 8th annual Small Business, Big Dreams contest. This competition offers small business owners the chance to grow their enterprise. Participants will be narrowed down to three finalists, each of whom will be paired with a Rockland Trust Business Banking Officer (BBO). The BBO will provide one-on-one consultations to coach the participants through the competition and help them build a comprehensive business plan to present to a panel of judges. The grand prize winner will receive $25,000 and both runners-up will receive $5,000.
“We believe that strong local businesses build strong communities,” said Mary Chetwynd, Senior Vice President and Director of Business Banking at Rockland Trust. “This contest is a special example of how our team goes above and beyond to provide advice, support, and resources that enable small business owners to invest in their dreams.”
Beginning March 3rd through March 31st, businesses throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island and the New Hampshire counties of Hillsborough and Rockingham who have been running their business for at least two years and have an annual revenue of less than three million dollars are invited to enter the contest. To be eligible, contestants must complete an initial eligibility survey. Those qualified must submit a written entry describing their business goals and how they would use the $25,000 grand prize to finance their dreams.
