Norwood Police Officer Arrested for OUI by Own Department

On Thursday, March 19, Norwood Police Officer Shawn Willman was arrested by Norwood Police Department for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol (OUI). 

Officer Willman has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal case as well as an internal affairs investigation by Norwood Police Department. 

A press release issued by Norwood Police Chief Christopher Padden on March 22 states, "The Norwood Police Department holds its officers to the highest standards of conduct and accountability. This matter is being taken seriously, and appropriate administrative action will be determined based on the findings of the investigation."
