Things To Do around Westwood This Weekend and Beyond: Friday, October 16 to Wednesday, October 21

Image

This weekend is a big one for the Town of Medfield, which is celebrating its 375th anniversary! Organizers urge visitors to plan to stay for the day, from a Grand Parade in the late morning through an outdoor party in the afternoon.

Extend the life of household items with the Repair Café, sponsored by the Westwood Environmental Action Committee and Charles River Repair Coalition, to be held at Mill Forge Makerspace in Norwood. Community members can bring in items in need of repair, with the goal of reducing waste.

Organizers of No Kings Needham will gather at Greene's Field to encourage voter participation, while another outdoor gathering is Fall Fun at Powisset Farm. Plugged In Band Program hosts an online concert on YouTube, viewable from the comfort of your home.

There's more to do than this - read on. To share an event of your own, register for a free account, and after reviewing Community Guidelines, go ahead and post! Or send your submission to WestwoodInAMinute@gmail.com.
