How to Participate in Town Government - Week of May 8, 2022 (Updated 5/11/2022)

Below are ways to participate in upcoming meetings of town government. Of particular interest may be Conservation Commission's public hearing on upgrading Westwood High School's practice field. It will also discuss a potential tree policy and Conservation Land Management Plan. These, and a few other highlights are:
Monday: Select Board discusses Memorial Day Parade and Annual Run for a Vet
Tuesday: Charter Review Committee discusses the town's Charter and project timeline
Wednesday: Conservation Commission discusses a possible tree policy and Conservation Land Management Plan. It also discusses upgrading the practice field at Westwood High School.
Thursday: School Committee discusses capital needs of the Sheehan School and survey results from the school community on school start times.

Discussion will include capital needs at Sheehan School, a social studies curriculum review and survey results from the school community on school start times. The superintendent's report includes introducing a Director of Safety and Security, recognition of Mama Mia lead performers, and end-of-year transition events.
Permanent Building Committee/School Building Committee Meeting, Friday, May 13, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. Items on the agenda include "Update on project status," bidding of Hanlon Elementary School project, overview of and vote on submitting 100% Construction Document Package for submission to MSBA, discussion and vote on authorizing the pre-construction survey work, and other topics.
