Dedham Community Theatre has announced that it is only one of two theaters in the United States offering an opening of the Irish documentary, Young Plato, which has received a 100% rating by Rotten Tomatoes. The film opens Friday, September 23, 2022 with showings at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. 

The documentary follows a maverick head schoolmaster at an all-boys primary school, who imparts the wisdom of Greek philosophers to his students. The young boys then challenge their community to find alternatives to the violence and prejudice that surround them. 

Tickets are $12 for general admission. Tickets are $10 for seniors, military, children under 15, and matinees first show of the day.
