Join Canton Historical Society for its annual Olde Colonial Yarde Sale on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m., at the David and Abigail Tilden House, 93 Pleasant Street, Canton. There will household items, bric-a-brac, tchotchkes, small what-nots, curiosities, grandma's heirlooms, and, what some folks may call dust collectors. Yes, there will even be books! 

This year, for the first time in collective memory, the Canton Historical Society will hold a members-only preview that morning, from 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. current members (those who have renewed as of August 1, 2023), will be eligible to shop from 8:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m., after which the public will be welcome. Those who wish to renew their membership or join as new members that morning will also be eligible. Bring cash, checkbooks, and credit cards.

The Canton Historical Society has been collecting Canton's history since 1898. Its collections begin with artifacts from the late 1600s through today. Highlights of the collection include a strong understanding of industry, military conflicts and daily life in Canton, Massachusetts. It is a non-profit museum and educational institution dedicated to preserving our history and place.
