The 19th year of live music at Canton's Open Book Coffeehouse opens with a performance by The Clements Brothers. George and Charles Clements are identical twins from England who play guitar and bass and write music. Also performing in the group is Mike Harmon on drums.
The brothers have toured internationally with the grass-roots band, The Lonely Heartstring Band, which put out two albums on Rounder Records. Their music is influenced by roots, rock, bluegrass, jazz, and classical genres.
Hot coffee and home baked goods are available for purchase. Parking from Washington Street is on the left of the library. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $15 per person or $8 per student and are available on a first come, first served basis by cash or check. Enter by "Special Events" door.

Heavy rain, with a high of 58 and low of 52 degrees. Fog for the morning, overcast during the afternoon, fog overnight.
I think it was better when folks thought they were speed monitoring cameras. Finally, cars were actually slowing down on High Street. The safest time of the day for pedestrians on High Street appears to be when there are traffic bottlenecks as cars have to slow down.
