The Walpole Footlighters opens its 100th anniversary season with what some consider to be the most charming musical ever written, She Loves Me

Set in a 1930s Budapest perfumery, we meet shop clerks Amalia and Georg who, more often than not, don’t see eye to eye. After both respond to a “lonely hearts advertisement” in the newspaper, they now live for the love letters that they exchange, but the identity of their admirers remains unknown. Join Amalia and Georg to discover the identity of their true loves… and all the twists and turns along the way.

All performances of She Loves Me will feature a “touch table” in the lobby before the curtain rises. A touch table includes props and costume pieces similar or identical to those used onstage. While the touch table is provided for those with vision impairments, all audience members are invited to visit the table.

Walpole Footlighters is mobility accessible and hearing assistance devices are available for those who may need them.
