The Open Book Coffeehouse and Friends of the Library bring a rollicking good time to the stage on Saturday evening, November 18, featuring the Cajun and zydeco band, the Squeezebox Stompers.

The Squeezebox Stompers is a Boston area Americana Roots band. They’ve performed Americana, Cajun, zydeco, blues, folk, and originals all over New England for the past 15 years. Members of the band have received Boston Music Awards and Songwriting Awards. They are noted for their step-lively up-beat music.

Their instrumentation includes accordion, keyboards, fiddle, saxophone, harmonica, penny whistle, guitar, bass, and drums. They’ve just released their latest album "What's So Bad About Feeling Good?" Metronome Magazine said of this album, “it’s worthy of non-stop airplay and critical acclaim. Outstanding!"

Parking is to the left when facing the library from Washington Street. Enter by the "Special Events" door to the left of the columns, midway into the parking area.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the music starts at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $15 for the general public and $8 for students of any age. Tickets are available that evening on a first come, first serve basis and payment is via cash or checks. Additional contributions are optional and can be made to Friends of the Canton Public Library or directly to performers.
