Friends of Canton Public Library holds its third annual Comedy Night Fundraiser with two shows on February 8th, featuring comedian Tony V, with Mark RIley opening the show. The 7PM and 9PM shows are geared for audience members aged 21 years and older.
Tony V has appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and sitcoms that include Seinfeld, Boston Common, The Single Guy and Dr. Katz Professional Therapist. He has opened for Kenny Rogers, The Temptations, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Beach Boys and Joan Jett.
Mark RIley was a finalist in the 2016 Boston Comedy Festival and currently hosts the Chirping Zebras podcast.
Raffle tickets are being sold at the library on Saturdays, beginning January 11th. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
Funds raised will support library initiatives, programming, service, and equipment not available through the municipal budget.
