New England Comics in Norwood is participating in the national event, Free Comic Book Day! The store is giving away up to two comic books per reader, on Saturday, May 7, 2022. The store officially opens at 11:00 a.m. and comic book enthusiasts are encouraged to arrive on the early side to ensure they are able to select the titles they want.

Available copies include titles from the series Archie, Avengers & X-Men, Buffy, Captain Underpants, Dr. Who, Donald Duck, Pokeman, Sonic, Spiderman, Stranger Things, Ninja Turtles, and Justice League. A Dark Crisis #0 FCBD Special which is a crossover story that brings together characters from Justice League and other DC characters.

Those who miss making a visit on Saturday can check in for leftovers on Sunday. Copies that are leftover will be available for free on Sunday as well. The store is also offering a 25 percent discount throughout store selections, throughout the weekend.
