The Westwood PMC Kids Ride offers an in-person and virtual option this year. Kids aged 2 through 15 can participate in fundraising that benefits cancer research.
Choose a route that best fits your interest, skill level and comfort. Allisa's Ride is a one-mile route closed to traffic, Five for Fighting is a five-mile ride through Westwood neighborhood roads and traffic with an adult chaperone, Westwood Strong is a double of the five-mile ride, and Virtual Rider lets you ride on your own.
There is a $25 registration fee and a $40 fundraising minimum for riders. Virtual riders have no fundraising minimum, but raising $50 or more earns them an official PMC Kids Rides t-shirt and water bottle.

Sunny, with a high of 62 and low of 38 degrees. Sunny in the morning, partly cloudy during the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
First of all, the intersection improvements are scheduled for the upcoming years and they are not related to Westwood at all.
The plaza on 109 where the Post Office is located would be a prime site for a modern development. It is a relic from the 1950#. Why haven’t the town planners sought a project for that location?
This is Route 1, the most heavily commercialized corridor in the region, and calling this an “existential threat” isn’t based in reality.
