DEDHAM, MA – Norfolk County Sheriff Patrick McDermott recently announced that the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office is bringing back the popular Holiday Happenings celebration to Norfolk County for the second year. Hosted at the office’s Braintree campus, the Holiday Happenings celebration is a family-friendly holiday party for all ages.
“I am always looking for ways to give families a fun, safe, and festive way to celebrate and spend time together,” said Sheriff McDermott. “Last year’s Holiday Happenings celebration was a great success, and I’m excited to bring it back so more Norfolk County families can enjoy it.”
The Holiday Happenings celebration is completely free of charge. Attendees can enjoy holiday music, fun crafts, snacks, carolers, and more. Santa will be in attendance for anyone wishing to take a photo and share with him their holiday gift wishes.
The Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office first hosted the Holiday Happenings series last year and drew families from across Norfolk County.
This year, the Holiday Happenings celebrations will be hosted this month on Friday, December 9th, from 4:00 – 7:00pm and again on Sunday, December 11th, from 3:00 – 6:00pm. They will take place at the Braintree Public Safety Complex at 2015 Washington Street in Braintree.

The Townwide cleanup is wonderful. Unfortunately none of the
