Of particular interest in meetings of town government this week may be:

Mon. 3/13: Select Board hears a Fire Headquarters feasibility study and discusses a cancer facility

Tues. 3/14: Finance & Warrant Commission subcommittees present on capital and long range planning, education, and other items

Wed. 3/15: Norfolk County Commissioners discuss the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget Proposal

MONDAY

Select Board Meeting via Zoom, Monday, March 13, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. Among other items, discussion will include a FY 2024 budget update, an update on the Fire Headquarters Feasibility Study and Fire Department Operational Study, a community services agreement regarding a Dana Farber Cancer Institute Proton Therapy Facility, and a potential vote to amend, accept, and/or remove articles for consideration at the upcoming Town Meeting.

TUESDAY

Finance & Warrant Commission (FinCom) Meeting via Zoom, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. FinCom will hear presentations from subcommittees on capital and long-range planning, education, public safety, municipal administration, community & economic development. This meeting will be continued on March 15th if necessary.

WEDNESDAY

Sewer Commission Hybrid Meeting, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. The commission will discuss updates on "I and I," and "Second Meter" and a "2023 Spring ATM Capital Request." Also up for discussion is Clapboardtree pump station construction.

Norfolk County Commissioners Public Hearing: Fiscal Year 2024 Budget Proposal, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Oral or written comments and suggestions are welcome on the proposed budget, which can be reviewed at www.norfolkcounty.org or in-person at the Norfolk County Commissioner's Office between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Questions can be directed to the Commissioners’ Office at (781) 461-6105.
