Celebrate Earth Day this weekend!

Tulips are in peak bloom at Elm Bank, and Newton and Framingham are hosting festivities and educational resources for more sustainable living.  Or put in some hard work in keeping Westwood clean with a coordinated Earth Day cleanup at various locations around town. Continuing on this weekend's nature theme, there's the return of Gore Place's annual sheep shearing festival.

If the above are not your cup of tea, head to the Homegrown Coffeehouse for live music and the venue's signature carrot cake, or choose the virtual performance (minus the cake).

And Ahavath Torah Congregation announces a dinosaur-themed Shabbat. Expect it to be a shortened version of its Shabbat service with dinosaur activities, including a dino-dinner!
