The winner of a $100,000 Mass Cash lottery prize purchased the winning ticket at the Wegmans grocery store in Westwood, reported Westwood Patch on Friday, September 15th.
The winning numbers are: 28, 34, 23, 17, and 8.
The drawing for the $100,000 Mass Cash prize was held on Thursday, September 14th. It can be viewed on the MassStateLottery YouTube channel, by clicking here.
Players of Mass Cash select five numbers manually or can allow a computer to randomly select them. While other prizes can be claimed by a mobile app or by mail, a prize of this size will have to be claimed at the Lottery headquarters in Dorchester.
Sunny, with a high of 91 and low of 63 degrees. Sunny in the morning, partly cloudy for the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
This needed to happen 5 years ago. But now the real wrangling begins as MPT will fight to get as much $$$ as they can from the state as possible”just compensation.”
I appreciate all of the work and time that the FS1 Steering Committee and Select Board have put into this process. I've also noticed a big difference in communication around this from the town on Facebook and Westwood Wire. This feels like a much different process than the first time around.
Combing the FS1 vote with the general election makes a ton of sense, and in fact, makes me wonder why not do this will ALL elections instead of holding town elections in April?
Just a reminder that you can e-mail the FS1 Committee at FS1Committee@westwoodma.gov with questions/feedback, etc.
Two different votes for the Project?
First one in October for 'site selection, budget, and funding sources' for a new FS1.
Then, a November vote for 'designing, constructing, equipping, and furnishing' of a new FS1.
Seems repetitive.
