LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Westwood Community Chest Thanks Residents for Support, Reminds Them of WCC Grant Assistance

Dear Editor, 

Thank you for the outstanding coverage you provide for the Westwood community. Because we know people interact with your publication and website, we would like to take this opportunity to thank residents for their important role in helping us support so many of their neighbors who find themselves in unexpected need, throughout the year.

Our work at The Westwood Community Chest is comprehensive, powerful and confidential for those who need assistance. Earlier this year, we reached out to residents with a letter asking for support of the Westwood Community Chest. The response has been phenomenal! It makes us grateful to live in a town where people actually care about their neighbors. We have received many donations, some with thank you notes of appreciation that an organization like The Westwood Community Chest even exists. We are very appreciative or the outpouring of support as the needs in our town continue to grow with prices increasing and short-term financial need striking our friends at unforeseen moments.
