What's Growing in and around Westwood Right Now?

In the lily family, Asiatic lilies tend to bloom earliest, in June, followed later in summer by taller, fragrant Oriental lilies.

Plant bulbs in late summer to early fall in sun to part shade, and well-drained soil. These are easy to grow flowers. To encourage new blooms, deadhead these upward facing flowers when they start to fade.
